I heard you ask for strength
Once or twice last night
when sleep fell upon roofs
At the nigh of night
When minds went far from dawn of day
I heard you sniff in the darkness
Once or twice last night
When the mask of smiles could hold no longer
And the tears broke your rules on restriction
I heard you collapse against sound proof walls
In the midst of your muffled cries
And then I heard myself say
To every weakness – a strength abound
And To every strength – a weakness abide
Be true to yourself soldier
Accept who you are.
